Born March 20, 1928, in Lefor to Andrew and Katie Riesinger, Eva (Riesinger) Krebs died peacefully in Tacoma, Wash., on Friday, March 8.
Born March 20, 1928, in Lefor to Andrew and Katie Riesinger, Eva (Riesinger) Krebs died peacefully in Tacoma, Wash., on Friday, March 8.
In 1947, she married Henry Krebs. They farmed in North Dakota until 1954 when they moved their family to Montana, and then in 1961 to Tacoma.
They attended St. John of the Woods Catholic Church and, after moving to Puyallup, All Saints Parish.
Eva will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother and we will hold her forever in our hearts.
She is survived by her eight children, Henry (Jane) Krebs, Sharon (Fred) Bearer, Bernadette (Gary) McKay, Cary (Debbie) Krebs, Roger (Cindy) Krebs, Dean (Becky) Krebs, Michelle (Chris) Todd, Rebecca (Russ) Parker and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Eva was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Henry, who passed last May.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Thursday March 14, at Powers Funeral Home in Puyallup, www.powersfuneralhome.com.
A funeral service is 2 p.m. Friday, March 15, also at Powers Funeral Home.
