Dr. Alan Fehr, a psychologist who has lived in Dickinson since the early 1990s, was the first to throw his hat in the ring when District 36 Sen. George Nodland announced his retirement earlier this year.
Representative-elect Alan Fehr, R-Dickinson, will join incumbent Mike Schatz, R-New England, in representing District 36 in North Dakota’s State Legislature. Fehr came away with 26 percent of the vote and Schatz captured 33 percent, according to the North Dakota Secretary of State.
Alan Fehr of Dickinson announced Friday he will seek the Republican endorsement for the District 36 state senate seat, according to a press release. Fehr is the first person from either party to state his intentions for the senate race in the district.
