The North Dakota Department of Human Services, North Dakota Association of Oil & Gas Producing Counties, North Dakota Child Care Providers Inc. and several organizations will hold a workshop at 10 p.m. Wednesday at the Dickinson State University Badlands Activities Center to discuss the child care crisis in the Bakken, according to a press release.
In its first season as a completed facility, the $16 million Badlands Activities Center was the site of some priceless football memories It isn’t even a year old yet, but the Badlands Activities Center has already created some lasting memories.
Working ahead of schedule, city officials began hammering out capital improvement project priorities Tuesday afternoon at Dickinson’s City Hall, and atop the list is an overhaul of the wastewater treatment facility along with a new medical facility.
Dickinson State University announced Thursday that bids for a substantial portion of the Badlands Activities Center have been reviewed and the demolition of Whitney Stadium should begin in the next week or two.
Public forums to discuss the proposed Dickinson State University Badlands Activities Center are scheduled for today and Friday in Dickinson City Hall.
