PITTSBURGH — Some of the nation’s biggest oil and gas companies have made peace with environmentalists, agreeing to a voluntary set of tough new standards for fracking in the Northeast that could lead to a major expansion of drilling.
GRAND FORKS — Dick Edgar said western North Dakota oil development has kept his Grand Forks concrete plant in operation and offers millions of dollars in opportunities for other companies, if only they can find a way in.
BISMARCK — Corporations and other businesses whose employees are assigned to work for or against initiated measures in North Dakota may have to report the labor costs as in-kind political contributions, Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem said Wednesday.
