ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — The U.S. Department of Energy said Wednesday that it has awarded two grants to the University of Michigan to underwrite $1.2 million in research on the use of coal-based fuels in clean-burning advanced turbines.
BISMARCK—North Dakota should work to double the amount of electric power it exports, build at least one new coal-fired electric generating plant, and boost renewable fuels and power production exponentially, as state group recommended today.
