(AP) - The percentage of young adults earning a college degree has increased slightly but still remains far below the level needed to reach the president’s goal of having the U.S. rank first worldwide in college graduates.
When Dickinson State University graduates exit campus this weekend, statistics show a majority will leave with the most coveted prize — a job.
“Right now, there really are no hurdles for students looking for jobs, especially in North Dakota, because the economy is so good here,” said Bonnie Bohlman, director of DSU’s career services center. “It is really easy for them to find a position, but it may not be one in their major.
