Local policymakers and business officials from Stark County received a better look at plans for a $250 million to $325 million diesel refinery that would pump up to 10,000 barrels of fuel or kerosene per day into the region, MDU Resources Group Inc. representatives said Tuesday.
Stark County Park Board members were divided in giving the Roughrider Commission $500,000 from property sales by the board for bleachers Tuesday at the Courthouse in Dickinson. In the end four of six members said “yes” to the replacement.
Area leaders met with North Dakota Sen. John Hoeven at Dickinson Public Library on Monday and expressed the area’s need for infrastructure.
Hoeven said one possible way of easing the area’s infrastructure strain could be through private investment.
