BISMARCK (AP) — The number of North Dakotans reporting seven-figure incomes is swelling and incomes across the state are rising, spurred largely by wealth gained from the state’s oil patch, according to the state Tax Department.
A statewide labor study that will provide information regarding the North Dakota workforce is under way and study officials will soon be calling residents in Beach, Golva and Sentinel Butte as well as their associated trade areas, an area official said.
Voters are shouting at Democrats to head back toward the political center, but they keep plunging on left — to the point where I wouldn’t put it past Majority Leader Harry Reid (Nev.) to blow up the Senate in order to pass a health care reform bill.
