Letter: Turn those headlights on

We had to make a fast trip to Bismarck this morning to see a doctor. Myself, I would of turned around, but to reschedule an appointment is not easy and the roads were not that bad.

It was just hard to see others because their lights were not on. When the semi trucks passed, you were subject to poor visibility because of all the snow. Several times we could not see. At least three out of five cars and pickups had no lights on whatsoever.

Turn those lights on and learn to dim the lights when meeting a vehicle. Why blind the other driver? There is always the other driver. Why risk his life and yours.

Use those lights. That’s what they’re there for.
