The show continues from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10. Admission is free.

This year’s show will be judged by artist Vern Skaug from Minot. It’s dedicated in memory of Rose Marie Ehresman, a well-known pastel artist from Dickinson.

Steckler said the show is in danger of closing next year unless members are willing to step forward.

“We have a lot of members, but not a lot of active members,” she said. “The Badlands Art show will fold without somebody willing to step up and run the show.”

Steckler became involved with the association in 1995 as a watercolor and pastel artist. Over the years, the show has encouraged and inspired her work. She won the “People’s Choice” award for three years in a row.

Artists, photographers and potters still have time to enter. Entries may be submitted until Thursday by calling Steckler at 701-483-0178 or 701-290-0876. By email, she may be reached  at edeeanne@gmail.com.
