Vehicle runs over sign, hits wall and rolls
A Dickinson woman had minor injuries after she lost control of her vehicle and rolled Monday in Dickinson, according to the Dickinson Police Department.
Tanya Cox, 37, was reportedly traveling east on 14th Street East when she lost control of her vehicle for unknown reasons.
Cox's vehicle ran over a traffic sign, hit a light pole and crossed a driveway.
Her vehicle then sideswiped a large rock, hit a brick retaining wall head on and rolled, landing on its tires.
Cox was wearing her seatbelt, and was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital where she was treated and released for minor injuries, according to the police report.
She was cited for driving under suspension, driving without liability insurance, and care required.
The vehicle Cox was driving -- a 1999 Chevy -- was a total loss and was towed from the scene.
Cox declined to comment.
