Dickinson Police need help locating missing 15-year-old

Edward Martin Stubbs

The Dickinson Police Department said Wednesday that it had received word of a confirmed sighting of a missing 15-year-old boy hours after alerting the media and public to the boy's disappearance.

The police department sought assistance in locating Edward Martin Stubbs, who reportedly walked away from a construction site in the 3300 block of Fourth Avenue East in Dickinson at about noon on Monday.

The police issue a public alert early Tuesday afternoon, stating that the 5-foot-10, 140-pound teenager was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white shirt and a blue jacket, all soiled with drywall mud.

Stubbs was located "passing through Bismarck during the later evening" Tuesday, a police press release stated. "It appears as though he may be eastbound on (Interstate 94) possibly en route to Fargo."

Stubbs was not believed to be in danger. Police continued to ask for assistance, asking the public to contact them at 701-456-7759 with any information on this situation.
