Jeffers elected to ND Farm Bureau’s executive PAC

Jerry Jeffers of Rhame was one of two Peace Garden State farmers elected to the North Dakota Farm Bureau Executive Political Action Committee at the organization’s annual meeting Nov. 22 in Bismarck.

Replacing Bruce Freitag of Scranton, who was ineligible to run for another term, Jeffers was elected to the District 9 position on the committee and will serve a four-year term. The Jeffers family raises spring wheat, flax and hay. Jerry and his wife Karen have six children.

The PAC executive committee, which was established in 2005 to support political candidates who share the philosophies of the NDFB. The bureau has more than 27,000 members in North Dakota.
