NEW ENGLAND — Hettinger County Sheriff Sarah Warner said Wednesday that her office is on the lookout for those responsible for a pair of break-ins in New England last weekend.

With the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation assisting, Warner said the investigation into burglaries that occurred at Fitterer Oil and Express Stop during the early morning hours Saturday.

Warner said that she believes the two crimes are likely related, though she declined to divulge what, if anything, was taken, citing the ongoing investigation.

Anyone with information about the break-ins is asked to contact the Hettinger County Sheriff’s Office at 701-824-2935.
