Waubun woman charged with abusing child
MAHNOMEN, Minn. — A Waubun woman has been arrested on three counts of abuse against a 16-month-old child.
The Mahnomen County Sheriff’s Office responded Feb. 11 to a Waubun residence after a call requesting an ambulance for a toddler in medical distress, according to a news release from Mahnomen County Sheriff Doug Krier.
The child was taken to Mahnomen Health Center and later transferred to Sanford Health in Fargo.
A complaint was filed Feb. 27 in Mahnomen County against Duncan, who was arrested on a warrant out of Freeborn County.
She appeared in court March 3, and bond was set with the following conditions: that she not leave Minnesota, not have any contact with the child and not possess firearms.
Her next court date is pending.
