Man who pleaded guilty in major Moorhead pot bust is arrested again

MOORHEAD, Minn. — A Dilworth man sentenced to one month and 10 days in jail after pleading guilty in what police said was Moorhead’s biggest one-time pot bust has been arrested again.

Moorhead police Lt. Tory Jacobson said police arrested Lawrence Kent Brink, 34, at his Dilworth home Wednesday for a probation violation.

Investigators executing a search warrant there seized a half-pound of medicinal marijuana, valued at about $4,000, and $22,500 in cash.

Brink pleaded guilty to felony third-degree drug sales, and possession of an assault weapon while being a user of a controlled substance, a gross misdemeanor.
