Bismarck man gets 10 years in prison for owning child porn

A Bismarck man has been sentenced for possessing child pornography, according to a press release.

Erik E. Cryderman, 47, will serve 10 years in a federal prison, followed by 10 years of supervised release, U.S. Attorney Timothy Purdon announced Thursday. Cryderman will also be required to register as a sex offender.

Cryderman was arrested March 7, 2012, for being in possession of visual depiction which showed minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct. He pleaded guilty to the charge Jan. 21.
