Police Blotter: String of vandalism and property damage likely related, authorities say

Officers are investigating a string of vandalism over the weekend that hit the downtown Dickinson area.

Woody’s Grain and Feed, the Family Dollar Store and Furniture City along Villard are among the businesses whose property was tagged with graffiti. The incidents are likely related.

“There are definitely some similar details in each of them,” Dickinson Police Sgt. Kylan Klauzer said. “We do believe they are related at this time.”

Property was also damaged on Ninth Ave. W just south of Villard and at 3rd Ave W and Villard.

Klauzer said related strings of vandalism like this are “not uncommon.”

There are no main suspects.
