Police Blotter: Car stolen from garage in north Dickinson
The Dickinson Police Department is investigating the theft of a vehicle from a residence in north Dickinson.
A black 2010 Mercury Milan was reported stolen from a garage at 3242 Fourth Ave. E. at about 2:22 p.m. Sunday.
“When (the owner) came out in the morning, the car was gone,” said Capt. David Wilkie of the Dickinson Police Department.
There were no signs of forced entry into the garage, Wilkie added. The case is still under investigation and the car’s information has been reported to the National Crime Information Center.
The vehicle has Louisiana license plates, WXZ 945.

Woman arrested after causing disruption at Paragon
A woman was arrested for disorderly conduct early Saturday morning after she refused to leave the Paragon in Dickinson.
Tracy Hodge, 26, who recently moved to Dickinson from New Jersey, and a female acquaintance were asked to leave the Paragon, “but she wouldn’t leave,” Wilkie said.
Wilkie said Hodge “became disorderly and started verbally assaulting people,” which prompted officers to arrest her.
Multiple items stolen from apartment
An estimated $2,400 in property was reported stolen from an apartment at 145 Fourth St. SW in Dickinson on Saturday afternoon, Wilkie said.
Items included clothing, a cellphone, a laptop computer and watches. There appeared to be no forced entry, Wilkie said.
