Police Blotter: Sleeping man charged with minor
A Dickinson man was arrested on minor in consumption charges early Saturday morning after officers were dispatched to a report of a man sleeping in an alleyway, Dickinson Police Det. Terry Oestreich said Monday.
When they arrived, they found Ricardo Anderson, 19, of Elk River, Minn., passed out near the 200 block of Third Street West. He taken into custody.
Officers seeking missing vehicle
Officers are looking for a green 1996 Accura Integra after the car was stolen from its owners residence early Sunday morning.
The car had been left unlocked with the keys inside near the 700 block of First Street East. It had been recently purchased and had no plates yet.
Knife-brandishing man arrested on terrorizing charges
A man brandishing a knife on the 1100 block of West Villard Street was arrested for terrorizing Monday afternoon.
Kenneth Dupuy, 50, told officers that people had tried to break into his room and car, and he had a knife just to protect himself, Dickinson Police Det. Terry Oestreich said.
Officers were called to report after Dupuy “raised the knife” toward a couple of people headed to a nearby bar, Oestreich said.
