Officers seek public help in search for missing woman

Dickinson Police Officers are asking for the community’s help in the search for a woman who went missing earlier this month.

The family of Bridgette Schmidt, 21, told police this week that they have not seen her since early May. She was last seen in Dickinson.

Det. Kylan Klauzer said police are “not ruling out anything” in their investigation.

“Right now we’re working through leads as they come,” he said. “We’ve had some tips come in.”

Officers have been in communications with Schmidt’s family. The Press was unable to reach the family for comment at this time.

Klauzer said more details will be released when more “concrete developments come,” but couldn’t divulge anything that might “hinder what we have going on.”

Anyone with more information should contact the Dickinson Police Department at 701-456-7759.
