Driver injured in car-moose collision
McGREGOR, Minn. — A 76-year-old McGregor man was injured Friday night when his car struck a moose in Aitkin County.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported that Raymond Reinhold was traveling north on state Highway 65 near the Highway 27 junction, south of McGregor, at about 9:30 p.m. when his 2012 Volvo XC70 struck the moose.
Reinhold was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the patrol reported. He was wearing a seat belt.
Officials did not offer any information on the condition of the moose.
