A Dickinson woman was arrested for driving under the influence Tuesday afternoon after she rear-ended another vehicle, officials said Wednesday.


Susan Lend, 41, was driving near the 1200 block of Third Avenue West in Dickinson when the accident occurred. The other driver complained of some neck pain but refused medical attention.

Warrant served on Dickinson man after domestic violence call

Officers served a warrant on a Dickinson man after a woman called to report a domestic violence incident Tuesday night.

Dickinson Police were called to the 400 block of Eighth Street East in Dickinson by a woman who said Thomas Marbano, 51, was yelling at he,r but the altercation had not yet become physical.

Officers discovered Marbano had a previous warrant out for failure to comply, driving under suspension and resisting an officer.

Marbano was taken into custody.

Dickinson man arrested for terrorizing, assault

A Dickinson man was arrested early Wednesday morning for terrorizing following an assault on another man.

A resident at the 2700 block of Sixth Avenue West in Dickinson called in to report that a man in a black shirt and white shoes was trying to force his way into the resident’s apartment. When police arrived, they located a man matching the description and placed him under arrest.

Obed Mondragon, 23, told officers he had been looking for his girlfriend.

Mondragon had started a fight with the apartment owner, who felt his safety was in danger.

Mondragon is being charged with disorderly conduct.
