Motorcyclist dies in Fargo crash

FARGO — A motorcyclist has died from injuries he suffered in a crash with another vehicle Thursday evening on Fargo’s north side, city police said.

The crash happened about 7:20 p.m. on 36th Street North near Main Avenue, just east of Interstate 29, Sgt. Jim Kringlie said.

The motorcyclist was headed north on 36th Street when he crossed the center line for some reason and was struck by an oncoming vehicle, Kringlie said.

The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital, where he died early Friday, the sergeant said. The drivers’ names had not yet been released.

The crash remains under investigation.
