Police Blotter: Teenager found unresponsive with synthetic marijuana
A Minnesota teen was arrested by Dickinson Police officers Thursday afternoon after he was found with two bags of synthetic marijuana in his vehicle near the 1500 block of Third Avenue West.
Police found Dustin Lilienthal, 19, of St. Francis, Minn., unresponsive in his Dodge pickup with a smoking device and two packages of “spice,” or synthetic marijuana. He told them he had recently smoked.
Lilienthal was taken to the hospital for evaluation. He faces charges of possession of synthetic marijuana and actual physical control of a vehicle.
Dickinson man arrested after brawl
Dickinson Police officers arrested a man Thursday afternoon following a fight at a trailer court near the 800 block of Southview Avenue.
Ulysses Franco of Dickinson had been in an altercation with someone at his residence when officers were called. Franco, 39, became belligerent and “wouldn’t listen to officers’ commands,” Capt. Dave Wilkie said. “He wanted to go back in the residence and continue the fight.”
Officers sprayed Franco with pepper spray and put him in handcuffs.
Storage units broken into, burglarized
Vandalism was reported on several storage units at a site near the 2000 block of Villard Street West on Thursday evening.
Locks were cut off and one unit was burglarized, Dickinson Police Capt. Dave Wilkie said.
Tackle boxes, motors and batteries worth a total of $4,000, and $700 worth of damage to a boat cover were reported.
The case is under investigation. There are no suspects at this time.
