WASHINGTON — North Dakota’s Congressional delegation announced Tuesday agencies that support victims of domestic and sexual violence will receive more than $620,000 in grants.
The Bismarck-based Abused Adult Resource Center will receive more than $350,000 in federal funds to help assist victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking with temporary housing assistance. The North Dakota Department of Health will also get more than $270,000 to help support rape crisis centers and other nonprofit, nongovernmental organizations across the state that provide direct intervention and related assistance to victims of sexual assault.
