Southeast ND drug bust nets $10,000 in narcotics, 4 arrests

WAHPETON, N.D. — Four people were arrested Friday, Sept. 14, on suspicion of possessing $10,000 worth of narcotics that drug task force agents seized when executing a search warrant.

Christopher Jerome Adolf, 37; Amy Elizabeth Adolf, 39; Elijah Cruz Hoaby, 21; and Nickolas Almond Cherry, 34, were arrested at 507 14th Ave. N. in Wahpeton, by the Southeast Multi-County Agency Drug Task Force, according to a news release.

The Adolfs are being held at Richland County Correctional Facility awaiting bond, while Cherry already posted a $500 bond. Authorities said Hoaby was released with a court date.

During the search, officers found 6.7 ounces of methamphetamine, 4.4 ounces of marijuana, marijuana wax or “dabs,” and mushrooms.

The Adolfs each face five charges: possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of meth paraphernalia, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana paraphernalia and endangerment of a child.

Hoaby is charged with possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia, possession of meth paraphernalia and possession of mushrooms, a controlled substance. Charges pending for Cherry include possession of meth and driving under suspension.
