Reep updates DPS board on middle school
Dickinson Public School District Assistant Superintendent Vince Reep reminded the school board Monday that two years ago on Oct. 7, the bond election passed for the new middle school.
Reep gave the board the latest update on the $65 million project, saying it's on track to be completed next summer before the 2017-18 school year.
Reep said the only thing that is behind schedule is window installation, but that should be back on schedule soon as Mortenson Construction, the lead builder on the project, has brought on more workers to complete the windows.
The school's future football field area was mulched on Friday and the heat has been turned on in the building to protect the sheetrock and paint.
