Another local business is burglarized over the weekend

DICKINSON - The Dickinson Police Department reported Tuesday morning that another business in east Dickinson is thought to have been burglarized over the weekend.

Investigator Amanda McNamee said Apollonia Dental Clinic was broken into sometime this past weekend.

She added that there was an attempted burglary at Queen City Upholstery.

"The door was vandalized, but they didn't gain entry," McNamee said.

Although the burglary and attempted burglary weren't reported until Tuesday morning, McNamee said she thinks both incidents took place late Friday night or early Saturday morning, when three other Dickinson businesses were burglarized: Kelsey's Kitchen, Dakota Tool and Machine and Western Agency.

McNamee believes all five incidents are connected.

She said the burglaries at both Apollonia Dental Clinic and Queen City Upholstery may have been discovered days after they actually occurred, due to the Memorial Day holiday.

McNamee said an undisclosed amount of cash was taken from several of the businesses that were burglarized over the weekend.

There are currently no suspects and the incidents remain under investigation, McNamee said.
