Glendive, Mont., man wins $150,000 from Montana Cash lottery
A Glendive, Mont., man is $150,000 richer thanks to a lottery ticket he bought at his local Albertsons, officials announced today.
Raymond Novotny flew to the Montana Lottery headquarters in Helen, Mont., today to claim his winnings after checking his Montana Cash ticket at the grocery store Thursday morning, according to a press release.
"He was kind of stumped at the beginning when I walked up here," Albertsons grocery manager Joann Hoesel said.
Novotny goes to the store every morning and is a longtime lottery player, Hoesel said, adding that he deserved to win.
"We always called him lucky," she said.
Novotny plans to invest his money and is excited to head home to his wife to show her the check, according to the release.
