Police halt search for Bismarck man at Dickinson worksite
The Dickinson Police Department has suspended the search at a worksite north of Dickinson where a Bismarck man disappeared last week, but it is checking out leads and possible sightings, officials said today.
Eric Haider, 30, was last seen at the site Thursday, May 24, while working for Bismarck-based Cofell's Plumbing and Heating Inc.
DPD searched the area with Dakota Territory Search Dogs of Conde, S.D. The search dogs left Wednesday and the site was returned to Tooz Construction Inc., who also aided in the search, Capt. David Wilkie said.
The search could resume at the site, Wilkie added, but the department is not leaving out any theories on Haider's disappearance.
Anyone who has seen or heard from Haider is asked to contact the DPD at 701-456-7762. Any tip is appreciated, Wilkie said.
