Dunn County Deputy Sheriff Kyle Grove said Officer checked herself into the emergency room at Sakakawea Medical Center in Hazen after she was found in Mercer County.

Laine’s husband, Jeremy Officer, picked her up from the hospital to take her home shortly before 7 p.m., Grove said.

Police do not suspect any foul play in the case. Jeremy Officer also had nothing to do with his wife’s disappearance, Grove said.

Jeremy Officer said he first heard the news via Facebook posts by the media. He had reported his wife as missing Wednesday. Jeremy Officer had last seen Laine on Saturday. She had left their residence following an argument.

“I can’t wait to give her a hug and tell her how much I love her,” Jeremy Officer said. “It’s the best feeling I’ve ever had.”

Jeremy Officer said Thursday that the couple’s two sons, ages 8 and 10, were happy to hear that their mother had been found OK.
