Killdeer to host forum on bypass
The North Dakota Department of Transportation will host a public input meeting Tuesday, Aug. 12 to hear comments on the proposed Killdeer bypass.
The proposal is for the construction of a bypass around Killdeer from Highway 200 to Highway 22. The project could impact wetlands and floodplains, according to DOT officials. Representatives from DOT, the City of Killdeer, Dunn County and architecture firm HDR Inc. will be at the meeting.
The meeting will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Killdeer Public School. A Q&A session will follow a formal presentation at 6:30 p.m.
