Nowatzki hired as Bismarck reporter for Forum News Service

BISMARCK -- Veteran news reporter Mike Nowatzki has been hired to staff the Bismarck bureau for Forum News Service.

Nowatzki has been a reporter for The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead since 2002. In Bismarck, Nowatzki will cover stories of statewide interest, including state government and the Legislature for Forum News Service. Forum News Service is a regional news wire service, created in partnership with Forum Communications Co.

Forum News Service distributes content to media clients across North Dakota, Minnesota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Based in Fargo, Forum News Service also has reporters in Bismarck, Williston and St. Paul.

"Mike has long been one of North Dakota's best reporters, and we are thrilled to have him working for Forum News Service," said Mary Jo Hotzler, Forum News Service director. "Mike has a unique perspective on issues of statewide importance and an unmatched ability to bring those issues to life through journalism."

Nowatzki is a graduate of the University of North Dakota and also has reported for the Worthington (Minn.) Daily Globe. He begins his new duties Monday, replacing reporter TJ Jerke in Bismarck.
