Idaho man killed in Highway 85 rollover

WATFORD CITY -- An Idaho resident was killed Monday morning after losing control of a pickup on Highway 85 about 20 miles south of Watford City, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

Terry R. Eckman, 48, was traveling north when he lost control of the Ford F-150 pickup he was driving while negotiating a curve. The vehicle ran off the road and into the east ditch, where it overturned.

Eckman, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected and died from injuries sustained in the crash.
