They include calls to repeal Obamacare and audit the Federal Reserve and support for a constitutional ballot measure in November that would replace the State Board of Higher Education with a three-member commission.

Rep. Jim Kasper of Fargo said eight or nine resolutions were introduced against the Red River Diversion flood protection project for the Fargo-Moorhead metro area, but he said the Resolutions Committee felt it wasn’t its role to take a position on the project.

The resolution related to Red River Valley flooding that passed the committee advocates “a more basin-wide approach be considered that benefits more communities and property with a lesser cost and ill repercussions to others” and that “both structural and non-structural solutions be considered.”
