One dead in head-on crash in northern Dunn County
A 23-year-old person is dead after a head-on collision with a semi truck early Sunday morning on Highway 200 in northern Dunn County, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The 36-year-old driver of a 1993 Ford pickup was traveling westbound when it crossed the center line and struck a 2008 Freightliner semi hauling salt water to a disposal site east of Dunn Center.
The driver of the pickup was not wearing his seatbelt and died at the scene. The driver of the semi was injured and was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital and Health Center in Dickinson.
No names, ages or residences of the drivers were listed in the NDHP's accident report.
The NDHP is investigating the crash, which took place near mile marker 103.
