Rogina Louise (Davis) Cusic, daughter of late Cedric Davis and Ruth (Maxwell) Davis, was born on May 2, 1961, in Belleville, IL. Rogina grew up in Illinois and Texas. She was a gifted student who graduated early. She attended college in El Paso and Boulder, where she developed her excellent financial skills while also working full-time. In 1980, she met a young medical student, Robert Cusic, who became the love of her life. They were married in 1982. Rogina and Bob have two children, Ryan and Jenna, who have been the lights of their lives.

First and foremost, Rogina was a truly selfless and gracefully gracious mother and wife who provided unconditional love and support to her children. She unquestionably and unfailingly devoted her time to her family and friends without request. She was a "professional mother" and was remarkably considered a mother to numerous of her children's' friends as well.

Rogina had many friends with whom she shared her love of life, her positive attitude, and her contagious smile. She had a smile and personality that lit up a room. She had a full life and was involved in many activities. She loved travel and adventure and was always up for trying something new. Rogina was an avid tennis player and coach who wholeheartedly "dabbled" in dancing, skiing, golfing, piano, mountain biking, rock climbing, kayaking, and bridge, among many other activities. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially walking with her beloved golden retrievers, Tess and Ellie.

Rogina was actively involved in her faith and the Catholic Church. Her relationship with her savior was of prime importance in her life and she loved studying God's word.

Rognia was looking forward to spending time with her new grandchild, Jasmine, (born to Ryan and Christina Cusic) and her new puppy, Izzy. She was also looking forward to spending more non-doctor time with her daughter's (Jenna's) boyfriend, Marv, and many more adventures with her husband, family, and friends.

She is survived by her husband Dr. Robert Cusic; son Dr. Ryan (Dr. Christina) Cusic; daughter Dr. Jenna Cusic; mother Ruth; sisters Janet (Scott) Parker and Kathy (Dr. Mike) Lowe; brother Max (Terry Soave) Davis; and granddaughter Jasmine Cusic.
