OMAHA, Neb. -- Dickinson saddle bronc rider Shaun Stroh punched his ticket to the National Finals Rodeo this weekend after earning $17,625 at the River City Roundup, part of the Wrangler Million Dollar Tour.

Stroh shared a semifinal win with Heath DeMoss. Each cowboy scored an 86. He also shared a runner-up finish with Isaac Diaz in the second round with an 85.

Stroh finished third in Saturday's finals with an 83. He earned cash in the second round, the average, the semifinals and the finals.

While Stroh is bound for Las Vegas this December, Dickinson saddle bronc rider Dusty Hausauer appears to be on the outside of the NFR picture.

Hausauer earned $2,200 at the rodeo. He had a 78 to win some money in the second round, which allowed him to pocket some average cash, and also gave earned money with an 84 in the semifinals.

However, Hausauer entered the weekend 14th in the world standings and watched as Diaz and Chad Ferley leapfrogged him in the standings after strong performances at the River City Roundup.

Although the final season money earnings won't be released until Monday, Stroh was in sixth place after the weekend while Hausauer was in the unluckiest spot of all, 16th, and was about $2,000 behind Ferley in 15th place. The top 15 saddle bronc riders at the end of the season standings qualify for the NFR.
