Stroh has 82-point ride, just shy of money
LAS VEGAS -- Dickinson saddle bronc rider Shaun Stroh finished out of the money at the National Finals Rodeo by half a point during Friday night's second round.
Stroh had an 82-point ride on Feature Attraction to finish seventh in the round. Cody Wright won the night with an 87 on Friendly Fire.
Stroh, who won the NFR average title last year, ranks third in the average following Thursday's 86-point ride. He is just 1.5 points off the average lead held by defending world champion Jesse Kruse.
Dane Hanna, a native of Berthold, finished out of the money in the steer wrestling for the second straight night. He had a time of 5 seconds to finish seventh. He was a half-second out of the money.
