Titans lose close contest to Bowman County
BOWMAN — The Dickinson Trinity girls basketball team battled back in the second half, turning a 14-7 deficit after the first quarter into a 22-21 halftime score. However, Bowman County narrowly defeated the Titans in the final half, earning the 43-38 win on Tuesday, Feb. 6 at Bowman.
Senior Meggie Fischer led the Bulldogs with 19 points, followed by senior Cassidy Walby who scored 11.
Senior Josie Glaser scored a team-high 18 points for the Titans with seniors Megan Krebs and Freshman Abbey Kubas adding nine each.
Both teams struggled behind the three-point line, with Dickinson Trinity going 1-for-13 and Bowman County sinking 1-of-6.
The Titans outshot their opponent from the foul line, draining 13 of their 17 attempts while the Bulldogs made just eight of 17 tries.
