Midgets edge Coyotes for West Region win

WILLISTON — The Dickinson High girls tennis team entered the week facing three different opponents in four days.

The Midgets thought they could come away with two wins. Dickinson has achieved one win in one dual.

Dickinson defeated Williston 5-4 on Tuesday.

The Midgets won four of the six singles matches and one of the three doubles matches. Meryl Kovacs, Mariah Jorda, McKenna Love and Kayla Wallace all picked up singles wins. The duo of Lindsey Bakken and Love defeated Kaylen Barstad and Jami Well for the dual win.

Dickinson continues its season with its home opener against Bismarck Century at 3 p.m. on Thursday.
