Midgets finish with season-best score at Williston Invitational

WILLISTON — The Dickinson High boys golf team scored its season low during its home invitational on Monday at Heart River Golf Course.

The Midgets lowered their season best by two strokes after shooting a 336 during the Williston Invitational on Friday at The Links of North Dakota.

Alex Priebe and Tony Kostelecky led Dickinson as they each shot an 80. Carter Donnan supplied an 85, while Matt Schaefer and Davis Donnan both posted a 91. Nick Himmelspach rounded out the Midgets top six golfers with a 92.

Minot finished in the top spot with a team score of 300. Bismarck St. Mary’s came in runner-up with a 301 and Jamestown placed third with a 301. The Blue Jays junior Nick Stockert was the medalist after shooting a 71.
