Dickinson baseball caps season off with 5 All-Conference players

The Dickinson High baseball team picked up six West Region honors on Tuesday.

Dylan Skabo, Cole Anderson, Mark Erickson, Luke Herauf and Brett Schweitzer were all honored as all-conference players, while head coach Pete Dobitz was named Coach of the Year.

Dickinson placed third in the West Region Tournament and fourth at the state tournament.

The Midgets had more players make All-Conference than any other school.

Bismarck High, who won the West Region, had three players named — Quinn Irey, Nate Dinga and Kole Bauer — while runner-up Bismarck Century had two with Tanner Wolf and senior athlete of the year Logan Kriviruchka.

Mandan’s Parker Harm, Jared Walters and Trever Leingang made the team as well as Grant Larson, Alex Mack and Chandler Jacob from Minot.

Bismack St. Mary’s, Williston and Jamestown each had one player named all-conference with Jacob Brucker, Seth Falcon and Tyler Ukestad, respectively.
