Children of all ages raced Saturday afternoon to get eggs at the T-Rex Plaza during Freedom's Easter Egg Hunt. The event, which offered thousands of eggs filled with candy and tickets for other prizes, was sponsored by Freedom Baptist Fellowship of Dickinson.

Dickinson resident Aiden Faulkner, 3, right, shows Nia Mayer, 5, of Dickinson, the goodies he got from the Easter egg hunt Friday at Western Cooperative Credit Union's north branch in Dickinson. The hunt lasted less than a minute as the children grabbed as many of the 540 eggs as possible.

From left to right, Austin Althoff, Jon Jahnke and Chad Berg start off St. Andrew Lutheran Church's eighth annual Cross Walk by carrying the cross down 13th Avenue in south Fargo on Friday. A group of over 50 people took turns carrying the cross from the Kohls parking lot to the church in West Fargo as a part of Good Friday. Services were held worldwide as Easter weekend approached, including in Rome where Pope Benedict XVI took the cross at the end of the Colosseum procession.
