Derrick Atkins of the Bahamas last ran in the Olympics on Aug. 15, 2008 when he finished sixth in his semifinal heat of the men's 100 meters in Beijing. The Dickinson State graduate has had a rough go of it since then, but has perked up this year and is back at the Olympics, which begin today in London.
