(Press Photo by Dustin Monke) Marc Mellmer, construction manager from JE Dunn and a Trinity High School alumnus, shows the work underway Monday inside the center portion of the high school that was left unrepairable after a March 2 fire. Major demolition on that part of the building is set to begin today as crews remove parts of the building that are no longer useable, such as the old main office area, the library and upstairs religion classrooms.

The BEST Robotics team from Killdeer, with Chad Musick, left, and Cameron Newbold, at the controls, operate their robot through a maze in the Blue Hawk BEST Robotics competition held Saturday at Trinity High School. Workers from Bearing Point Construction clear out a second floor classroom at Trinity High School that was damaged in a March 3 fire. Bearing Point had to break a hole into the second floor Thursday in order to get items out of the school so the center portion could be prepared for demolition sometime next week, a construction worker said.
