Activist Winona LaDuke talks Monday about her plan to raise awareness of the Sandpiper oil pipeline which is scheduled to traverse an area from Park Rapids, Minn., to Backus, Minn., on it’s way from western North Dakota to Superior, Wis. LaDuke and fellow riders rode their horses to Park Rapids Monday, trying to follow as close as possible the pipeline route.
