Duane DeKrey is the new deputy director of the North Dakota Game and Fish Department. Appointed in late December by department director Terry Steinwand, DeKrey spent 20 years in the state Legislature, representing a rural district that occasion saw him vote against bills that were supported by conservation and sportsmen's groups.
