BISMARCK — After coming away with a narrow 2-1 win in the opener, the Dickinson High softball team handled Bismarck High 12-1 on Saturday. The Midgets’ used a pair of pitching performances from Haley Butterfield and Madison Jahner to complete the sweep. The pitchers combined for 13 innings, allowed two runs on seven hits and 14 strikeouts.
BISMARCK — The Dickinson High boys track and field team received points in 12 of the 19 events en route to a fourth place finish in the West Region on Saturday at the Bismarck Community Bowl.
BISMARCK — The Dickinson High girls tennis team as a whole has already qualified for the North Dakota state tournament, but just one singles player and one doubles team moved forward to the final day of the West Region tournament.
BOWMAN — After winning on Tuesday, Heart River’s Jada Mattson didn’t stop there.
BISMARCK — The Dickinson High boys golf team needed confidence entering the West Region individual qualifier on Monday at Riverwood Golf Course. The Midgets received the added confidence after posting two scores in the low 80s during the Bismarck St. Mary’s Invitational on Friday at Hawktree Golf Course.
MINOT — The Dickinson High baseball team needed an opening win against Minot to nab the No. 1 seed and clinch the West Region regular championship on Thursday.
BISMARCK — The Dickinson High girls tennis team was ready to play from the get-go. The Midgets’ focus proved to be the determining factor.
SOUTH HEART — Heart River junior Jada Mattson didn’t have any trouble on her home course.
